Our children will have to live in the world that we have prepared for them. Working on this situation may be the easiest problem for us to fix and one of the best ways to change the future because it will lead to happy adults who will be able to make better decisions!

A calm class room is the only way to learn.

But when they get a little older it is more important for young people to focus on something that they are interested in. And then if they have to go back and work on the basics they will be open and willing to learn "the hard stuff" because now they know they have something that they are good at. Some "kids" just aren't ready to learn a variety of things in a set number of years. That may be just too fast. Learning a trade they have an interest in and going to work half a day until they graduate, no matter how long it takes, would be much better than having a nation full of drop-outs.
